Crystal R. Brown is the wife of Rev.
Johnny Maurice Brown and together they
have five children and four grandchildren.
She is an ordained Deaconess and a
licensed Minister. During her teen years,
she won Miss Homecoming for her high
school and for the state of Florida. She
went on the place 2nd runner-up in the
Miss Homecoming Queen of America
Pageant. She also reigned as Homecoming
Queen her freshman year in college.
She graduated from Bethune-Cookman
University and now teaches 2nd Grade in
Palatka, FL. She was honored to represent
her school as Teacher of the Year.
Sis. Brown says she was blessed to write
and publish a book entitled, "Theshela:
Born for Destiny", a story that celebrates
family and faith. She enjoys writing,
reading, working with children and being
with her family. One of her motto's in life
comes from the song "Through it all, I've
learned to trust in Jesus. I've learned to
trust in God".

while developing as local ambassadors and leaders.
To guide the young ladies in this growth process of improving their
interpersonal communication skills, their ability to articulate their
ideas, showcase their talent, and present their own unique style,
while representing the Florida Azalea Festival Pageant with dignity
Through classes and workshops, we build a confident, disciplined,
responsible, intellectual and persistent generation of youth who seek
to impact their community in a positive way by developing their
own self worth.
